In 2019, I published ECLIPSE: How the 1919 Solar Eclipse Proved Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity. This year, with the April 8th Great American Eclipse, a solar eclipse that will cross 15 states, the book is timely again.

How do you take advantage of current events to encourage sales of a backlist book? In this post, I’ll look at what I tried, what didn’t work, and what did work. There are costly failures and bumbled opportunities, but in the end, I did manage to increase sales.
