We write our books, and then. . .we try to sell them. They are two different tasks! The creative task of writing is the fun part, and why most of us come to the field of independently publishing our books. But the selling? It’s hard.

  • We sell on established platforms: Amazon, Kobo, iBooks, GooglePlay, Etsy, and so on.

  • We do craft fairs and booths.

  • We sell on our own websites: in 2020, the talk has all been about selling direct to the reader via a website or other digital way of taking payment.

But I’ve not heard much about selling wholesale. What follows is my attempt to investigate this possibility for selling books. I’ll include some of the most popular platforms and some pros and cons of this. I’m NOT doing this yet, but I’m investigating the possibilities for 2023. Come join me to talk about WHERE we sell books
