I’ve been an Ingram print-on-demand publisher for over fifteen years. Why? Because if you POD with IngramSpark or Lightning Source, your books are automatically listed in their sister company’s data feed, Ingram Wholesale. The feed is supposed to go to over 4000 places where books are bought and sold. Essentially, Ingram Wholesale is the only major wholesaler of books in the U.S, making it a mandatory move if you want wide availability. For my picture books, KDP will print paperback, but not hardcover. Ingram’s hardcover offerings make that format possible, too.

Today, we’ll talk about the ins and outs of working with Ingram, including setting discounts, changes in the library marketing, how to get a pro account, and updates on what’s coming.
