I’m writing with big new today. The Society of Children’s Bookwriters and Illustrators will hold its 50th anniversary conference in late July/August. They’ve invited 50 people to present a 15-minute session on selected topics. And I’m thrilled to be presenting HOW TO EARN SIX-FIGURES SELF-PUBLISHING.
The lineup is incredible with how-to-write craft topics mingled with how-to-market topics. Check out the program and register here. It’s $150 for SCBWI members, $250 for nonmembers.
My session will be on August 1 at 12:30 pm. EDT
A Book on Self-Publishing
To coincide with that conference I plan to have a preorder set up for a book about self-publishing kids books. It won’t be a comprehensive how-to book, but rather a collection of essays, speeches, and many of the blog posts found here. I’ve having a problem deciding on a title
and subtitle. Could you help me out by suggesting something?
This is my current thought for a title: subtitle. What do you think?

Congratulations Darcy and well deserved. You will bring so much to the table. I like the title but maybe can be shorter. Inside the Mind of a Successful Indie Kids’ Books Author. Good Luck!
