Second Editions or Special Editions
Your book is out! It’s set in stone, right? Wrong.
Second editions of a title means that you have substantially updated the book in some way, changing or adding over 10% of the text. This is more common in nonfiction books when information needs to be updated.
A special edition means that you’ve created a special edition that includes different formatting or somehow changes the book’s physical appearance.
When do you need a special edition? A second edition?
