Can I "go wide" using only Lulu and have them fulfill any orders that come in through Amazon and Ingram to keep the print quality high throughout? Or is using just Lulu cost prohibitive when you do the global distribution option?
Do you still use KDP for paperback, IngramSpark for hardcover and paperback, and LuluDirect for your website and special orders?
I swear, every decision I make is a WDDD .. What Does Darcy Do moment!
When Lulu does global distribution, it adds a distribution fee, which makes the books too expensive. The reason Lulu works with Shopify is that there is no distribution fee BECAUSE YOU are the distributor through Shopify.
I still use KDP for paperback, and IngramSpark for hardcover and paperback, and LuluDirect only for Shopify and special orders. Correct.
Hi Darcy. Do you choose Premium color for your picture books with IngramSpark? I'm in sticker shock at the moment, hoping I can get away with cheaper paper. Gulp.
Also, thank you for this: "I’ve never had a teacher or parent comment on the quality of the printing." (That should help me sleep better!)
I can't afford their premium print and still make a profit. Try Standard70.

What POD printer do you use? Thanks in advance!
I use KDP for paperback, IngramSpark for hardcover and paperback, and LuluDirect for fulfilling sales from my website and for special orders.
