Long and longer stories deserve a series.

One of my main publishing strategies is to publish in series. You’ll see some of them in this blog post. I have series of nonfiction picture books, fiction picture book, science-fiction novels, fantasy novels, and short chapter books.

Why are series so appealing to indie publishers? Today, I’ll talk about the main benefits of publishing in series and why they’ve been such an important part of my success. We’ll do the basics of what is a series, how long is a series, do you need the same illustrator for a picture book series, and wind up with ideas on marketing series.
